Welcome to Catch. By downloading, accessing, or using the Catch mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Catch. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.

2. User Accounts and Content

To use Catch, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated.

  • Camera and Photos: Catch requires access to your device's camera to allow you to upload profile pictures and event photos. You retain ownership of your photos, but you grant Catch a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, and display this content within the App.
  • Prohibited Content: You agree not to post content that is illegal, abusive, defamatory, or violates our Community Guidelines.

3. Real-World Meetings (Assumption of Risk)

Catch provides a platform to facilitate real-world meetings (via "baits" and "bites"), but we do not conduct criminal background checks on our users.

  • You agree that you interact with other users at your own risk.
  • Catch is not responsible for the conduct of any user, online or offline. You agree to release Catch and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of your real-world interactions.

4. Advertising and Data Use

Catch is a free service supported by advertising. By using the App, you agree that Catch may display ads to you. Furthermore, as detailed in our Privacy Policy, you acknowledge that we may use your data for targeted advertising and may sell certain data to third-party partners.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Catch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App or your real-world interactions with other users.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, without notice, for any violation of these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
